Grades : Tuesday and Thursday Groups

Dear students,

I have brought all your papers abroad and while holidaying and resting, I'm trying to grade your papers as well. I will return your papers upon my arrival and at the latest on Monday morniıng at the library in the English department (from 9 am to 11:30 am).
Maybe we can meet in a cafe before Monday at Place de La Sorbonne (ie on Saturday afternoon for example).

I'll let you know.

Best regards,

Mounir Nassor

Message for all groups

UPDATE / DEC 08:

We have tested the equipment this morning (Monday, Dec 08) and since everyrthing is working now, I can confirm that the screening of the movie will take place at 7 pm
(till 8:30 pm) tomorrow (Dec 09) in amphi Milne Edwards.

Since I will be coming from another institution in the south of Paris, I might be slightly late (10 to 15 minutes maximum). Do wait for me.

----------------------------------
Reminders for the revision program:
  • All the reports except BBC Ouch
  • Idioms (horse, leg, arm, foot, head)
  • Phrasal Verbs (only pages 4/13/21)
  • Vocabulary (everything except BBC Ouch)
  • There might be an unknown report with specific questions (listening comprehension)

The exam will be from 8:30 am to 9:30 maximum am but the class will begin at 8 am as usual!

As said earlier: we will watch a movie (my M1 students) in English with English subtitles next Tuesday evening (Dec 09 - 7 pm- 8:30 pm), "normally" in amphi Milne-Edwards (I will confirm this on Monday or Tuesday). Youare most welcome to come as well.

You will have to write an essay on this movie (optional assignment) to help you "boost" your semester grades. This optional assignment will have to be returned in January (first class).

We will discuss some of the issues that appear in the movie during the second semester (if you are still around), so this movie will be a good preparation and will help you better understand and "visualize" these issues.

Best regards,
Mounir Nassor (mounirnassor@yahoo.co.in)
