REMINDERS

As said earlier, there will be no class on Dec 01.

The short vocab test on Dec 08 will cover the vocabulary from: 
  • Darwin
  • Early History of Jamestown 
  • False Friends: ex. 1, 2 and 3
There will be nothing from "Spanglish" since we did not finish it last Thursday. Please, prepare "Australia's Aborigines".

First main exam: November 17, 2011

This first main exam on November 17 will cover:
  • Grammar (in translation): Units 132, 133,134 and 135
  • False Friends (in translation): ex 1, 2, 3
  • Audio reports: 
    • "Early History of Jamestown" (vocabulary  / listening comprehension)
    • "Darwin" (vocabulary up to "...country curie" / no listening comprehension on "Darwin")
  • Idioms (in translation): Leg / Arm / Head / Hair / Eye / Bean
REMINDERS: 
  • As I had said, due to prior commitments (see previous post), I will be asbent next week (ie on November 10)
  • There will be no catch-up session whatsoever if you are absent for the exam on November 17, even if you have a valid and sincere reason.
