Dear students (the Thursday group),
As confirmed today, the first in-class exam will take place next Thursday (December 6th) from 9 to 10 am. There will be questions on the vocabulary, on the idiomatic expressions, on the two reports we have studied (Andrew Keen and Ambrose) and there will be questions on an unknown report you will hear twice or thrice.
I strongly recommend that you train your ear as much as possible and listen to audio reports from the sites I had mentioned at the beginning of the class ie PBS, ABC and BBC World Service.
Do not forget that we have a catch-up class scheduled for tomorrow (November 30th) from 8 to 10 am (room 368).
Best regards,
Mounir Nassor
