This second main exam, which counts for 40% of your semester's continuous assessment grade, will last around 80 minutes and, since there is a class at 10 am, we must leave at around 9:55 am maximum.

The exam will cover everything done so far this second semester:
- Reading Comprehension (an unknown text with questions)
- Vocabulary:
       a) Pottery Production in Akrotiri
       b) Geoff Brash
       c) Video game research
  d) Government and Politics (vocabulary) up to page "303" ("Inauguration day")
- Idioms ("character" - all of them - and "colours" from # 1 up to # 17 included)
- Grammar in translation (from French into English): the sentences will be adapted from the chapters 137, 138, 139 and 140 (left and right pages)
As requested by some students, there will be an extra idioms exercise whose grade will be combined with the 1st Short Test if and only the grade improves the grade of the students on this 1st Short Test.
 REMINDERS:
Reminders:
1/ Second short vocab test: April 24 (15% of the semester grade)
2/ Should you miss one of these exams, there will be no catch-up session whatsoever, even if you have a valid and sincere justification.
3/ Attendance is compulsoryunlike in L2 and in M1, there is no "contrĂ´le final" in L3 because the English course is optional in L3. Should the students be absent 3 times (ie 2 + 1) without providing a valid and sincere justification, their semester grade will be impacted by - 30% (example: if a student's semester grade is 10/20 and is absent 3 times without justification, their grade will be: 10 x (-30%) = 07/20.
